The Heffington Family has been filling prescriptions with precision for over 45 years. Originally established as a wholesale only -to-doctors full service laboratory, Heffington Optical began in the early 70's. Being able to quickly adapt and meet the customers needs, allowed Heffington Optical to be the premier manufactuer in SW Missouri, Arkansas, and Kansas for eyglasses. As in most cases, change is the one constant, and In 1987, the decision was made to open the doors of the factory to the public. Trailblazing within the industry was nothing new to Heffington Optical. Armed with the challenges of changing from "wholesale only to the doctor" to a "wholesale to the public", Heffington Optical strided ahead of it's competition and set the standard of care for all others to follow.
